Patiala House Court hears civil and criminal cases for the New Delhi district, together with designated special courts. That covers bail applications and criminal trials arising from New Delhi district police stations, cheque bounce complaints, civil suits within the district courts' ₹2 crore limit, and family cases for the district. Our advocates act at Patiala House in bail, criminal defence and divorce matters.

Patiala House Court covers the New Delhi district. A criminal case comes here when the FIR was registered at a police station in that district, and a civil or property case when the property lies or the cause of action arose there. Send us the FIR or the address and we will confirm the court.

You can meet our advocates at our principal chamber, S-307, 3rd Floor, Delhi High Court, Pragati Vihar, New Delhi 110003. The firm appears at Patiala House but has no chamber or office in that complex, so we do not hold consultations there; we meet clients at the court only around a hearing. Most are not. Until August 2026, Delhi's NDPS cases were tried before a single dedicated Special Judge, NDPS, at the Patiala House Courts Complex. In August 2026 four Special Exclusive Courts (NDPS) were set up at the Rouse Avenue Courts Complex and took over the bulk of that caseload. Which categories of case stay where they were is governed by the allocation orders in force, so a pending NDPS matter should be checked on the eCourts case-status service for the court it is now listed before.
