Courts and tribunals
We appear before the trial courts, the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court, and before the tribunals that hear recovery, company, consumer, service and labour matters — so a matter does not change hands when it moves up.
Special leave petitions, statutory appeals, transfer petitions and writ petitions under Article 32. Filings are made through an Advocate-on-Record, and we explain at the first meeting how yours will be filed and who will be on record.
Our principal chamber is at the Delhi High Court: writ petitions, quashing under Section 528 of the BNSS, bail and anticipatory bail, appeals and revisions from the district courts, commercial suits and arbitration petitions.
The seven Delhi complexes and the four NCR district courts, listed above. Which complex a matter belongs to is fixed by law, not by preference.
Debt recovery before the DRT and DRAT, including SARFAESI matters; insolvency and company disputes before the NCLT and NCLAT; and, in addition, the District, State and National Consumer Commissions, the Central Administrative Tribunal and the labour and industrial courts. We appear before all of them. We hold no chamber or office at any tribunal.

A hearing is not missed when two courts list your matter on the same morning.
It also means we say no. If a matter belongs at a court we do not practise in, or would be better served by counsel with a different specialisation, we will tell you at the first meeting rather than after you have paid for it.

The law decides, not preference. A criminal case goes to the court with jurisdiction over the police station that registered the FIR; a suit about land or a building is filed where the property is situated; a cheque bounce complaint lies where the payee’s collecting bank branch is. Tell us those facts and we will confirm the court before you come in.
A named advocate from our team is assigned to your matter at the first meeting and stays your point of contact. That advocate settles the papers; because more than one advocate knows the file, a hearing is not missed when another court is also listed that morning.
